Check-in at your hotel, find time to enjoy being amidst this ancient city full of hustle and bustle, blending ancient traditions with modernistic attitudes. Kathmandu is a historic city with rich cultural and spiritual values, which serves as an ideal way to start the upcoming adventure.

Visit the heart of Kathmandu Valley and its hub of centuries-old heritage sites. The tours begin at Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in which palaces and temples tell numerous tales of Nepal's regal past.

The Swayambhunath, other very popularly known by the name Monkey Temple, stands high atop a hill, 1,400 meters above sea level, with a picturesque view of the valley. It is there that the spiritual tour continues with one of the largest stupas in the world, Boudhanath Stupa, and it ends at the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, the most important Hindu temple in Nepal. Every location represents some part of the rich culture that comprises Kathmandu.

Begin the drive for the "City of Devotees," Bhaktapur—renowned for old buildings and a charming atmosphere of hectic Newari culture. Walk within its narrow streets to feel and discover the old temples and the presence of tradition in creating arts and crafts.

Continue driving from Bhaktapur towards Namobuddha, which lies at the altitude of 1,750 meters and is considered one of the holiest Buddhist sites, well-known for its peaceful milieu. Drive to Nagarkot in the evening at an altitude of 2,175 meters. Prepare yourself for this exciting moment as the sun sets over the Himalayas – a view that you remember for a pretty long period of time.

Today you will drive to the city of Pokhara, right in front of the Annapurna Mountains and 822 meters above sea level. On the ride, nice views may be seen, with step-like fields, flowing rivers, and faraway mountain tops.

Be amazed at the tranquil beauty of Pokhara lakes and adventure opportunities at the end of your drive. Gorkha, basically a sleepy town which is the gateway to the Annapurna region, means peaceful time away from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu.

Enjoy nature and cultural spectacles of Pokhara during the tour, which starts at the mysterious Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, housing a venerated relic. Not far away, get amazed by Davis Falls, where the waters of the Pardi Khola River disappear into a beautiful underground waterfall.

Continue to the top of over 1,100 meters at Peace Stupa, offering spectacular views of the Himalayas range, including the Annapurna, along with beautiful Phewa Lake. The tour will conclude with a visit to the Pumdikot Shiva Statue, 1,500 meters in height and to the Bindabasini Temple, considered highly prestigious and with great architecture.

Today we drive you to Lumbini, which is the pilgrimage destination for you, an elevation of 150 meters above the sea level. You are driving through the terai levels of Nepal as you leave the hill section. Buddha the Lord was born here.

You'll arrive at Lumbini and it feels serene-a suitable place for contemplation. This marvelous UNESCO World Heritage Site is a place visited by devotees of Buddhism from all over the world, giving everyone an extraordinary opportunity to see Nepal's spiritual history firsthand.

Spend the day touring around Lumbini. Begin with the Maya Devi Temple, where Lord Buddha was born. This temple complex is enclosed by a tranquil garden and bounded by ancient monasteries and stupas built by Buddhist countries from around the world.

Stroll along to the Ashoka Pillar-set up by Emperor Ashoka himself in 249 BC-to show various monasteries, each peculiar in its own style of building and following. Not only is Lumbini a place of historic interest, but it is also a quiet haven for restful moments and quiet times.

Depart from Lumbini and drive to Chitwan, located at an altitude of 415 m. This drive brings you right in the middle of Nepal's Terai region, generally known for being thickly covered by jungles and a habitat for many species of wildlife.

Upon arrival, you will be escorted inside the Chitwan National Park, another World Heritage Site where nature plays the protagonist. It is famous for one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tigers, and many rare species of birds. This should make this park an ideal destination for the nature- and adventure-loving person.

Spend your day at Chitwan in raw beauty; one would have to be connected with nature. Take a thrilling safari through the jungle, sighting identification of rhinos, deer, and if really lucky, the rarest of them all-the Bengal tiger.

Take a canoe ride right alongside the Rapti River, where paddlers find company by way of crocodiles and bright birds sunbathing.

Visit the elephant breeding center to get more insights into the conservation efforts, then attend the Tharu village tour in the evening to witness the local Tharu people and enjoy their culture and tradition.

Then, after those exhilarating adventures in Chitwan, it is finally time to go back to Kathmandu. This transit will give you enough time for retrospection of the varied experiences undergone in the past days—spiritual places and natural sceneries.

And finally, arrival in Kathmandu feels like arrival back into the familiar yet-the hustle and bustle of this city is made richer by the trip you have undertaken. Spend a relaxed evening by probably visiting the lively markets of Thamel or having a traditional Nepali dinner in a local restaurant.

Today is the final day of the Nepal Cultural Tour. You could make some last-minute buys or even visit a couple more cultural sites, in case you have time. Our staff will drop you at the Tribhuvan International Airport in time for your flight.
