Uttam Thapa is from Dhading. Hills. Mountains. Grew up running around there. He spent 18 years in the army. Hard work. Tough days. Learned to stay calm, think fast, carry heavy loads. All of that helps him now in the mountains.
He joined Shikhar Adventure in 2021. People noticed right away — strong, reliable, doesn’t complain. Can carry heavy packs. Always careful. Keeps trekkers safe. Calm, even if it’s raining or the trail is slippery.
He’s friendly too. Smiles a lot. Talks to everyone. Makes the trek easier for people, even long hard days. Treats every trek seriously, but still makes it fun.
